I have a Tourer that has the leather type hondaline. Which is 98 and are getting ragged. The replacements hondaline are expensive. But they screw onto the ghost brackets. So do I buy the type with throwover strap. Cut the strap off and washer and bolt those on or any ideas?
(It is a Tourer, dont know why didnt have the hardbags. owner sold them and put leather on.)

Do a search for Tsukayu hardbags and see if those might interest you. The picture below shows that bag on my 97.

I have LeatherWorks 110X bags on EZ Brackets that work very well for me.

Have a Leatherlike set off a Harley. VERY NICE. No mounting hardware. Need locks. Sad
Bought them for my VTX but sold the bike before installing them. Wink
Any interest on trading for yours? They'd go on storage. Roll Eyes  Have more bags than motorcycles to install them on. Embarrassed

Ok should clearify. Looking for leather saddlebags that bolt to ghost brackets. Not throw over strap type.

The Kury leather "EDGE" bags are a great alternative.
The back side is hard plastic and is easily drilled to fit your OEM leather bag mounts.

I bought a set of JAFRUM leather bags, but now wish I would have purchased the EDGE bags instead.
