I picked up a Goldwing chrome lower cowling with the round light holes.  Unfortunately, I failed to ask the year model for which it was designed.  So, I'm not sure which lights I should order to fit this piece.
So anyone know the year model and/or have suggestions for lights that will work on a 2014 Valkyrie with that GW cowling?

I'm certainly no expert here, but EC Connection has lights that will fill the bill.  They are really nice folks to deal with as well.  Lewis will answer any questions you may have and EC has really top notch products.

Check them out here :  http://www.electricalconnection.com/driving-lights/gl1800-cowl.htm

Their products are compatible with your bike and round cowl set up.

Of course, you can always go OEM.  I have them on my 2001 and have not had a problem.  I also have amber lens protectors in place that give a different visual pattern for approaching cages.  I don't ride at night so I'm not interested in that option, but these still work well for that application, too, IMO.

BTW, I have had these installed since 2001.  I have not had to change a bulb.  EC stuff can be LED and will last a longer period of time.  Also, EC's stuff will be brighter.

I have the LED set up for the newer cowl that should be hooked up next week.

Hope this helps.   Wink

Any 2001 and newer Goldwing lower cowl with the round light holes will fit your new Valk.
The lights and wiring kit need to b 2012 or newer air bag set.

I like the light kits that have metal brackets that bolt to the front of the heads.

Thanks Ed (and Bagger).

I already got the chrome cowling, because it was pretty obvious that it would work.  But, I thought 2012 and newer had the square holes.  Why the air bag set?  What manufacturers have the metal bracket kits?

Thanks again!

Check out the EC link above and read.  You'll find what you are looking for.

And, call Lewis tomorrow to get ALL the information your require.   Smiley

Ok, makes sense now.  BTW, wouldn't airbags on a MC knock ya off the bike?  ???

Air Bags on a Motorcycle is just a stupid idea.

I wear ATGATT and even that won't save your butt.
