Well, should pick up my new 2013 red and black tomorrow. Then will have a new platform to buy accessories for. One of my first items to buy, besides the windshield, will be some highway pegs. I have Kury Iso pegs on the Valk, and that seems to be a good choice. I'll probably go with a blacked out pegs to match the crash bar. What do you guys think? I know that there is also that new peg that mounts to the valve covers. Looks nice but doesn't seem like there would be any adjustment to it.

It adjusts front-to-back... there's about four choices of where on the valve
cover to bolt it on. I wish it also had an adjustment for how much
it came open... I'll probably get used to "sticking out at a right angle",
but swooped back a little might be better...

brew2brew (?) has 4050's (I think, they're similar anyhow) on his bike,
I like them, might have been a better choice... but I'll stick with the$e
for a while, now that I have them...

Rainman ,I and the wives, possibly Half, are riding down to Clinton , TN this weekend. Would love to ride the new bike, but won't have it ready by then. It's going to need highway pegs, luggage rack, taller windscreen and possibly a new seat (wife factor there) before I want to ride distance on it. We're leaving Friday morning. The trusty Valk is already set up for such trips.

nice wing Ed. Yeah I know there are a lit of choices. Have thought about those pegs that look like small floor boards too.
I'm interested in your seat. That's another thing that will probably be on the short list of imediate upgrades. I really like the looks of the Corbin seat for the F6B, but comfort ,especially for my wife, is the main thing. I'm not as fond of the Ultimate seats appearance on the F6B, by they are really nice on my Valk. How do you like yours?

I've read posts on the F6B forum and what has been repeated by a few, that if you like a firm seat, go with the Corbin, if more cush, then a seat like the Ultimate or Mustang. Seats aren't cheap, and I don't want to have regrets. I really like my Ultimates on the Valkyrie, but that doesn't mean that would translate to the F6B. I've never tried sitting on Corbin's though. The one's Corbin makes for the F6B sure look nice.
Here is the Corbin set up I'd choose

Here is a couple of the Ultimate

Congrats! Did you get the deluxe model or a standard?
Hot rodded model?

I really think the RIVCO pegs that fold out of the valve covers are trick, but I believe I would go with the black Kuryakyn set up that is like the #4050 that we run on the Valkyrie.
My wife thought the Ultimate seat AND backrest was a huge improvement over stock. The stock backrest is a joke, at best all it does is keeps their rear ends from sliding off the back of the bike.

I ended up getting a '13 Red Standard. Brand new $15k something. It's $17651.18 out the door all taxes and fees. I went with the standard partially, because I was playing phone tag with a dealer in Lexington and in E-town(where I live). The Lexington guy had a red standard in stock, so that's what I was pricing. The guy down the road said he'd have mine here this afternoon,Wed. After thinking about it, I want to change the seat,so the back rest would've found it's way off the bike. The heated grips, well I want some Kury grips with their throttle boss and this will make that a no brainer. Plus, I'm thinking I may buy those Helio bars for it. I will get the center stand as part of the $1000 dollar accessories. So, all in all I think it's for the best. I'm used to cancelling my own turn signals anyways. cooldude

No the guy where I tested the hopped up one gave me a bad taste. I could've called back and negotiated, but he tried to sell me a '13 ,starting at MSRP. His out the door price for a '13 deluxe, without the power mods, was well over $22k. I didn't care for his slick nature, and where I ended up buying from is right down the road from me. He is a two hour ride up near Indy. Who knows, I may be a customer of their service department if I decide I got to have that power mod, but for now, I'll ride it stock.

I have the dually kury pegs also. I think the black would look good on the F6B. I just ordered a new windshield for my goldwing. It's called a flip windshield.

My dealer allowed me to puchase both Honda and aftermarket parts with the Honda Bucks.

I purchased the following from them.

Hondaline large windshield with vent.
Hondaline Power port in Left fairing pocket
Kuryakyn Rear LED brake light
Kuryakyn front reflector LED replacements
Kuryakyn Black ISO grips
Hondaline Rear luggage rack
Hondaline Passenger helmet headset plug
Hondaline Passenger Helmet Headset
Hondaline Passenger Floorboards

As far as the centerstand, any GL1800 will fit and they can be had as take offs for as little as $75 on ebay. Just make sure you also get the springs and the bushings in the frame.
If you want passenger floorboards same rules apply, buy them on ebay and then just paint the backsides black. You will save yourself at least $100
I have plenty of other additions I have since added, can tell you more if your interested. Just keep piling on coats of liquid glass and you should be all set.  cooldude cooldude

I had to buy Hondaline accessories, because,it's not actually the Honda "Bonus Bucks" That was used in the purchase price. The $1000 accessories was an additional incentive.
I bought the LED light kit, the Chrome rotor covers, the bag liners, the 12 volt outlet, chrome license plate frame, and I think I'm leaving something out, but those Hondaline LEDs are expensive.

My first after market purchases will be either an Ultimate seat with both back rests or a Corbin same. I like the looks of the Corbin better, but not sure , I've heard some don't like that their seats have a firmer feel. I've also got a taller dark smoked wind screen on the way already and some highway pegs are on the short lists.

Here is my new ride. Cheesy

Here it is with my trusty steed.

Firm is an understatement (or it was), do not buy a Corbin without sitting on one first.

Corbin is how I discovered the Airhawk seat cushion.

My wife and I both are loving our Ultimate seats. Make sure you get your wife the extended back rest if she is going to ride with you.

All this talk about seats. My two cents (and it is only worth what you paid ) I can ride much longer on a firm seat than a softer one. I had a Corbin on my VTX and loved it could stay in it all day.

I really like the looks of the Corbin seat, and I probably am willing to give the firmer seat a try, but I don't know how that firmer seat would translate for the passenger. That is also my big concern. My wife doesn't ride as much as I do, but we do like to take some trips, and I'd hate for her not to enjoy the new bike. We'll still have the Valkyrie, which she finds comfortable with the Ultimate, but I want her to be able to enjoy the new bike as well. Undecided

I thought the Rivcos would be the bomb, but I was a little afraid of feeling like I was in a set of stirupps at the doctor's office, so since they are back ordered anyway, I went with the Mick-O-Pegs. They are not the classical good looking highway peg, but wow there is a great comfort factor. So far I have only done 300 miles on a single ride. I really need to do 500 to see if they give me the relief I need after a long day in the saddle. (riding on a Mustang Tuck and Roll) What ever the seat, I think I am going to keep the Mick-O-Pegs.

I wnet with the Kuryakyn Ergo IIIs. They ar very nice. The have a similar spring action as the Mic-O-Pegs, but look ,IMHO, a whole lot better and have the more comfortable Trident ISO pegs. They are also available with the mini boards. So far, I really like them, and the don't have that "feel like your feet are up in stirrups" feeling. coolsmiley  I got them for $266 shipped. They come in chrome and black. I was back and forth but went with the chrome. Some want the total blacked out look, but I'm gonna have some chrome. Looks really good with the chrome strip on the valve covers. I also have the Hondaline Chrome rotor covers. They are part of what I chose with the $1000 free accessories.
