I don't know the size you need but these metric brass threaded inserts at MSCdirect look like a good place to start. 25 in a pack.
Kind of a long link: http://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/93441996?src=pla&008=-99&pcrid=15557577904&007=Search&006=15557577904&005=21882504424&004=4409695744&002=2167139&mkwid=sJXegN7a0|dc&cid=PLA-Google-PLA+-+Test_sJXegN7a0_PLA__15557577904_c_S&026=-99&025=c&item=93441996

Those are not at all like the Honda OEM part.

The Honda piece is a two part assembly.

The inner piece when screwing in the bolt, pushes and expands

the outer sleeve (the threaded piece) to grab a better

bite into the plastic hole.

When reusing the OEM part you should first push the inner

piece back to it's original position within the sleeve to allow

the OD to be reduced and then glue it in.

When you insert the threaded bolt it will push the insert

and expand the legs of the sleeve to increase the hold of the

assembly.  Naturally an antiseize is highly recommended

when assembly to facilitate removal when necessary.

While turning, place a putty knife between the inner and outer fairing, applying outward pressure to allow the screw to come out of the insert.

If it doesn't come out, then the whole assembly will need to be removed (pull) instead.

You'll have to pull the whole thing out and glue the insert in as described above. To avoid this problem,I used jb weld on the inserts and make sure I take the fairing off once a year. Oh, and never seize on the screws helps too.

You should be able to find similar State side.
Either the Aluminium, rubber or pre bulbed would be good options.
You do not need the custom tools to set these, just a bolt and spacer set up to pull and expand the insert.
I have used the stainless ones with a homemade tool

Preciate it Jimmy but on my ride today I stopped at the dealer and ordered a couple already. The part # Punisher gave me is a good one!!  cooldude Yet another reason I truly love this board and the folks that populate it.  coolsmiley Okey Dokey-back to our regular scheduled programming.  Roll Eyes MIGHT have had one icy cold adult beverage too many---NAAH!!  2funny RIDE SAFE.
