A friend with a '98 Standard needs a RIGHT-SIDE FORK--Actually just the upper part, but it seems like it would be a lot easier to just swap-out the whole fork.   I've already checked our classified and the only ones listed were already sold. I also checked e-bay and Pinwall--Theirs were being sold only in pairs and from $410.00 to $499.  Anyone inthe club got a "right-side" one (in good condition)
that you'd part with?  If so send me a PM (justmeedp(nospam)@cox.net) with some details etc.  The only thing wrong with the one my friend has is that there was some corroison on the front and after we polished it off the now very shinny part is just, if not more, noticeable then the corrosion was.

Earl- I can't help you with a fork, but just a thought---it might be cheaper to have both forks polished than to buy one, if you can find it?  Stan

Grumpy on the Florida board does a great job of polishing forks.  Maybe give him a shout to see the cost.  He did both of mine and they are very shiny, almost chrome.

As said above, if there is nothing mechanically or functionally wrong with the fork, keep it and finish the job.  coolsmiley  cooldude
