anti-seize or never-seize or just put some oil or dab of grease on it.

If it screws into any aluminum any where on the bike put a little anti-seize on it.

99 I/S with 90,000 and looks to have been taken good care of by the previous owner  but it seems that every easy job has been  made difficult by one bolt that either won't break free or strips the threads.
