Jetflyer sold me those 1 inch risers and the longer bolts that go with them and I installed them in about 20 mins. THAT included getting out the tools and putting them back.  Roll Eyes After wrapping the tank in a multi folded HEAVY blanket I noticed the handle bars were located directly under a roof brace. IDEA!!  Grin Took a 1" friction strap and took the hook ends and made them into loops and went around the master cylinders on both sides and around the mirror arms-ahead of master cylinder behind mirror arm on both sides. And up over the roof brace-instant 3d hand. Took most of the slack out of the strap and when I got the top clamp loose they barely rotated towards the snuggly wrapped tank. And was able to slip the risers in with virtually no muss or fuss or curse words AND NO dented tank.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...
