I was planning to fly to Arkansas and ride home on a custom painted F6B from Honda of Russellville.  But I talked to them last week and they've sold all of their 2013 deluxe models.  So now I'm looking locally again.

I got a quote from a dealer here for $16,500 for a deluxe 2013.  However, they would keep Honda's $1000 accessories bonus, so it really works out to $17,500.  How does that compare to what others have paid?  Either way it's a lot of bike for the money, but I'd like to 'shop around' anyway.

I got my 2013 standard for $15651 and I got the $1000 dollars accessories. Steve at Dan Powers Honda in Elizabethtown,KY cooldude I had another dealer try to sell me the same bike for $200 more and kepp the $1000 as well. Steve checked and said the $1000 dollar Honda Bonus bucks they use to get the final price and the $1000 dollar accessories have nothing to do with each other and there was nothing that said you couldn't get both. I ordered what totaled up to $1070, he took off the $70 and I was able to order all I picked out with no money out of pocket. cooldude

Would you like me to check with my dealer here in northern IN? He is an awesome dealer and I think he still has at least one 2013 red and black model.

I just talked to my dealer whom I HIGHLY reccomend. They have a red 2013 Deluxe and he would sell it to you for $16,500 AND give you the $1000 Honda bucks AND an additional year of warranty. Let me know if you would like me to get you two connected.

EDIT...A little teaser pic of the bike for you.  Wink

Dave, I appreciate the offer, though I still have another dealer I like about an hour from where I live.  He's the one who encouraged me to take a 40+ mile test ride, which sold me on the F6B.  I want to talk to him before I go out of state.

YOU ARE ALL LUCKY !!!
Just checked the French Honda web site a fall from on my back: in France the Valk F6C is sold for 31590 US$ !!! compared to 17500US$ you have to pay. Local dealer doesn't know anything about the 1000$ accessories.

I assume the difference is mostly tax?  Yikes!  What does a Harley cost there?  And what about annual license fee and insurance?  I can't imagine what it would cost to buy and feed my F150 over there.

I finally made a deal on an F6B.  I'm buying it from the same dealer I got both my Valkyries from.  It's even the same salesman I bought my '98 Tourer from 16 years ago -- that says something about a dealership.

All they had left was a red standard, which wasn't my first choice.  But they're using the $1000 Honda bonus to make it a 3/4 Deluxe model by installing the center stand, heated grips, and backrest.  They're throwing in the 12v power outlet as well.  I also ordered one of those great looking windshields from Klock Werks which makes the red ones look better IMO.  I'll post pictures when I pick it up this weekend.

Congratulations on the fast red one. Same here. If not too late, I'd use the $249 they charge for the centerstand on something else. Those centerstands are pretty cheap. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/231299771262?lpid=82

They are even found for less than $50. Just a thought. cooldude

Same here I just picked up a used 2008 center stand on eBay for $39 and the seller was 50 miles from my house so I picked it up today on the motorcycle with 2 other buddies. I think we spent more on gas then shipping but we ended up putting about 160 fun miles on.
