I haven't posted here in awhile. Last post was on the old board. I was Brian in B.C. in the old days.I was in my garage today and came across stock Interstate windshield. I knew it was in the garage but I hadn't seen it for a couple of years. I like the look of  the new Valkyrie windshield . Does anyone have any pictures they can post of an Interstate with shorter windshield that I could get some inspiration or ideas from ?  Any lessons learned as far as buffeting etc.

Thanks

That's not me but my friend Chase in the saddle.

About eight inches at the top.  Rounded.  The lowers takes away the wind under the fairing so buffeting is not an issue.  It definitely lets the rider experience the wind into the face which is the way I like it.

Steel cutting blade on a variable speed jigsaw.  Keep it slower than full speed to avoid melting.

 Thanks  Willow

I did a search on short windshields and came up with a couple of informative threads.

Stock IS shield is about 15". The photo below shows a Cee Baileys 12.5" shield.
