I have installed a set of the Kury Mini boards in place of my stock driver's pegs. But, I'm not sure if I have them mounted correctly. I installed the offset mounts in the forward and down position. I tried putting them on with the mount pointing up and to the rear but this made the boards feel too high.
I like them the way I have them although I had to bend the kickstand arm forward a little to clear the left board.
My question is concerning the shift lever. If I leave it where it was, I can hardly get my foot under it due to the wider board. I moved it up a notch on the spline and it feels better but not quite the same as with the old footpegs.
Do I have the boards on the right way? Or did I do something else wrong. As I said, I did not like them with the mounts in the up and rear position.
Thanks, Eric

Here was my set-up. I now have Cobra boards in place of the Kury pegs.
Chet's Kick Shifter eliminates any shifting problem.

I believe down and forward is correct.  That is the way I have mine and that also looks like Capt. Morgan has his in the picture he posted.  I also have Rattlebars Peg Relocation plates on mine.  They drop the pegs 1" and move them forward an inch.  As far as the shifter goes...have you seen the second place where you can make an adjustment.  It's close to the engine behind the exhaust headers.  I had to manipulate both to make my shifter position better to deal with.  If you need to get it even higher, you could cut that upper wire loop off so that you can adjust the shifter higher without that loop hitting the under side of the valve cover while up shifting.  I think the loop is there to prevent you from getting your shoe up against the header.  Good luck.

Where can I find the Chet's Kick Shifter. Any links or prices?

Just recently I tried using my Kury Wings as my footpegs---didn't work because of my size 13's not being able to get under the shift peg properly.  Tried the shift peg relocation as well and that didn't work.  I just went back to using the Kury 4050's as foot pegs and moved the Wings back to the crash bar where I had them before.  Much more comfortable and I can move my feet around on the pegs easily.   Just my $.02 for what it is worth.

My experience is the same as Six Packer. I tried using the Kury Wings as footboards and ended up moving them back to the highway peg location. Although in my case this all happened 8 years ago and I can't remember all the details. I do remember the Wings were prone to dragging around corners, though.
