does anybody have an idea who makes a good trailer hitch that would fit with a dark side tire

Hitch Doc. But they are expensive new. I would put a WTB ad in our classifieds. And if you get one get somebody to help put it on. It can be a pain by yourself.

My 98 standard has been a darksider for awhile now plus i have a trailer hitch and a trailer. this winter I'm considering removing the hitch and selling it as well as the custom trailer that i built. I just don't use it as much as I thought i would. Considering offers if interested.
