Bakers and a set of fork mounted lowers such as Memphis Shades lowers.

Hox don't take our ribbing personal. The first few suggestions are basically your only true options taller shield.
18.5" is tallest one offered.

I added Bakers, and a wider windshield (Show Chrome I think) The buffeting didn't stop until I added the fork deflectors cooldude

Dear Friends

I'm a bit on the tall side (6ft1) and facing wind buffeting on my I/S. I'm considering installing one of this windshield extensions on my valkyrie:
http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/motorcycle/8110025.html

I have one in my vstrom and it works wonders (it is amazing how such short piece of lexan can make such huge difference). The main advantage, in my view, is that unlike other extensions it doesn't require to drill the original windshield.

Regards

I am 6'2"and have a 10" windscreen on my IS and am not bothered by buffeting.

Try a few hundred miles with no windshield and she may appreciate what you have. angel

I also have a 2000 Interstate and wife was getting a lot of wind buffeting. Installed Baker Air Wings and fork deflectors and she say it made a world of difference. Added plus is it helped me as well. Can turn the wings to get more air on hot days and none on the cold days. I recommend both additions. The windshield I have is Cee Bailey 2" lower than stock and it works fine.
