Hi, I'm hoping that there's a few west coast members who can refer me to a reliable mechanic in the lower mainland (Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey etc.) who won't rip me off to the tune of $1100 for doing a carb clean, gasket/o-ring replacement on my 03 Valkyrie.  The only symptom (at present) is the fuel rail between 3&5 leaks.

Anything you can provide me with would be welcome.  Thanks in advance.

I can't make a referral because I don't know any mechanics in your area. But I can tell you that they should be able to replace the gaskets in the fuel rails without removing the carbs. I watched (wish I knew how he did it) as a honda certified mechanic did it for me. Hope this helps.

Thanks nogrey, that's something that sounds really good to me right now.  I recall seeing a message on the 1500tech board from someone that did it themselves as well.  I should follow-up on that.
