Its just a day or two early but thats fine. I've been sick most the week so thats my excuse. Who has ideas or thoughts about meeting location? Please keep in mind a place with a meeting room, or large table thats not terribly loud usually. When the weather cools down again, we may have a quarterly Saturday meeting for those who normally work on Thursdays.

Where is that Rainmaker? I had a place to suggest, but haven't had a chance to check them out yet - Cavalli's. It's not too far from the Fuddruckers we've been meeting at. Maybe next time.

I'll actually be down in the Ft Worth area that evening now. We havent done one down that way in a while. Not sure what the "appettite" (pun intended) might be for that location in SW DFW area.

Us east siders are just SOL for meetings/rides/etc that take 1 1/2 hours of travel just to get to the destination when work doesn't end til after 6. Ya'll have a great meeting.

We've had meetings in Rockwall and that didn't attract the east siders, either.
Nominations were asked for - if you want a meeting close to you, then put in your vote.
(I'm 55 miles away from the restaurant, by the way.)

I have a reservation for 12 for VICC. We are supposed to be in a side room but we might have to share with other large groups. The meeting room is already reserved at 6 for someone else. Maybe the southern cruisers.

Had a nice meeting. Had like 11 people show up including a new guy named Jeff(?) (Chemist1) who happens to have bought Brew1brew's old Valk? Talked a bit about the previous rides lead by Valkpilot and Rainmaker. Mentioned that Ride for Kids is coming up Oct 12. Online registration is now open, so lets get out there and raise some money! Also a reminder about the Texas Ride In in Fredericksburg Oct 17-19. More information in another thread here. No current news on any upcoming rides other than these. If you want and can, feel free to volunteer to lead a ride. There may be a wrench party in the semi near future. I hear someone wants to work on a clutch and Timbo will need some help with some fork bushings.
