I have a strange noise in the front end of the bike that bothers me.  When riding down a road with small bumps, like tar filled cracks in the asphalt that just moved the wheel up and down a little, I can feel a rattle in the handlebars.  I can't hear it though.

I thought maybe the forks were hitting the fork seal a bit and that hitting the limit with the rubber seal deteriorated was doing this, but changed the seals and this did not eliminate it.

I took it to the Honda dealer, asked them to check the front wheel bearing, they found nothing wrong.

Wondering if this means anything to anyone?  I am afraid it is a bearing problem and a bearing failure would be dangerous.

Hoping someone can throw me a bone  Smiley

Go over the same bumps and lightly apply the front brake while applying throttle to maintain speed and see if you still have the rattle. If you do, then it isn't the brakes. If the rattle doesn't happen when the brakes are lightly applied then check them out. Shot in the dark.
