Well, we knew this was gonna be part of it moving up here. Got in on the ice/snow thing this past week here in beeeutiful Flippin, Arkansas. One good thing about retirement, you do not have to get out into this stuff unless you just want to. We knew this was comming so we had planned ahead and was ready. Ran on the generator for only three days before our power came back, but there are parts of the area up here that is still without power.

Yea, I know I still got TX numbers on the barge, havent taken the time to change them yet. Grin

First thing I saw.  You anticipated.

Dem Arkysaw lake troopers will be givin' you sum grief wit dem Texas numbers.   Grin

Every time I take my boat up to fish with my father-in-law, they stop us and ask for fishin' licenses and check out the fire extinguisher, horn, etc.  Every time.  They seem to leave the Arky boats alone.

I do like to visit there.  My wife and I go up to see Grandpa in Hot Springs and always meet nice people.  They ask about our kids and about us.  I still remember one saying "hey, are you really married?  You don't even look alike".

Wow...that looks cold!  Glad you all "weathered" the storm alright.  The picture of the boat is my favorite.  Nothing like being prepared.

In the 70's here in Central Texas today.  Had a nice ride to Wimberly after polishing my rear wheel...think I got too much sun on my shoulders.  It is just February 1st, right?
