I recently went to the dark and like it,
I did notice today that my front tire had the same wear on the right side only as the recently replaced MT did.
This is new any thoughts out there as to why this wear accured...

Is the wear on the right side as you are sitting on the bike? Or on the left, sitting on the bike. Many have reported wear to the left side of the front tire. Speculation is, the crown of the road is the culprit for that type of wear. If it is truly wearing on the right side, as you are sitting on the bike, I have no idea cooldude

You could start an interesting argument with that speculation.  The only way the crown could cause the wear you see is if the rider was constantly in a thirty degree lean against the crown.

The wear is caused by the different amount of time in a left versus right turn.

Do you commonly ride on a NASCAR track?

My last front tire only  had 16K on it and the left side was worn down to the wear bars and the right side still looked new...freaked me out, but I did find that the left side fork was sitting about a 32nd of an inch lower that the right one..
I hope that was the reason for it..we shall see when I wear this new one down.

From riding around in circles then?
Maybe it is caused by the coriolis effect of the rotation of the earth. Shocked

You don't give your location anywhere. Are you in Great Briton or Australia, perhaps? Riding on the left side of the road reverses the normal wear on the front tire.

I guess regardless of speculation, (which my comment was) the real answer is, many of the Valks do this, not all, and is fairly normal.  cooldude

Post number 9 from RickyD made the most sense to me (from a logical/practical point of view)
