I am planning a trip to Colorado in July to tour the state and spend a couple of days at InZane 9.  I am looking for a couple of good men to accompany me.  Okay, you don't have to be a good man, in fact almost anybody who has a bike will suffice.  This is my tentative plan, but other than the departure and return dates, I'm very flexible.

Depart DFW on Sat., July 18, 2009 trailering to Alamosa (my trailer will hold 2 bikes).  On 7/19 start touring in a clockwise loop around the state with stops in Durango, Gunnison, Montrose, Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs, Grand Lake and Estes Park, ending up in/near Dillon (which is near Breckenridge) on Thursday, July 23.  InZane 9 (VRCC's annual gathering) is headquartered there this year.  I plan on spending 7/23 and 7/24 at the event, which will probably involve some day trips.  I may ride into Denver on the evening of 7/24 to catch a Rockies game at Coors Field.  On 7/25 I will return to Alamosa via Leadville and Salida.  After spending the night in Alamosa I will make the return trip to Dallas on 7/26.  Back to reality on 7/27.

I hope to ride at a leisurly pace, covering 200 miles or so per day.  The plan is to have at least a couple of hours each day to take in the sites at each overnight stop.  I am hoping to stay in inexpensive motels.

If anybody is interested let me know.  I would love to have a group of 4-5 guys.

That sounds like a great plan, Jeff.  We are planning to attend IZ9 and have discussed with a couple of others trailering out of the flats and some of the Texas heat toward better riding.  It would be fun if our itineraries are coordinated, even if only partially.

Put me down for a maybe.
Not sure if I would be up for the whole thing or just part.
It all depends on my job situation.
