Well now I did it .I can't ride in this wonderful weather in sunny Or. Last wensdayI had a mild heart attack an now I am trying to rest up an build up my strenght enought to do the things around the house that I used to do without thinking about it.I am 66 yrs young an have been riding for 16 yrs. an loving it .My wife an I rode toCressent city Ca. last Monday an thru the redwood forest an up the coast an had a great time .I was planning to go to s.Ca.to visit family soon ,I hope that I can still go.I am feeling good now but I sure got a scare.Art from grants pass area Or.

Well.....I guess if yer gonna have a heart attack, a "mild" one is the best kind to have.  Get good and "healed up" before the weather turns and get you some good miles!

Get your self checked regular like and rest up...if all is clear you will be up and about (riding that is) in no time... A couple psoitive thoughts and prayer for a speedy recovery...

Hi, Art. I'm sorry to hear about your heart problem. I'm over 65 and learning that "my ol' body ain't what it used to be." I just gave up riding the Valk with Navigator and understand exactly how you feel, because it was a way of life for us. I hope you heal up and get a clearance from your doc.

ART. it s been three weeks for me no riding. i have to cage to work. three weeks to go (broken fibula). hang in there bro! take care of yourself. its also a good time for bike maintnance. on the road again soon

thanks everybody.I am feeling better butdo not want to ride to soon in case I get to feeling bad again.s--t happens when you get older.Right now I am just enjoying the good weather an planing to go on my next trip on my valk.I have a 66 blue mustang coupe that I can drive for now an at least enjoy that.thanks again.Art

Art, sorry to here about your incident. I hope you don't mind some well intentioned advise. Ask your Cardiologist if there is a Cardio Rehab class in your area that you can enroll in. Maybe you already are. I hope your back up to speed soon.
