Signal minder problem solved

For those of you that like me that can effectively and efficiently run a -----92,000sf building owned by the City of Sarasota, you fill in the blank for yourself. But can't stinking remember to cancel your blinker!!!! I bought a signal minder about a year and a half ago and installed it using the two supplied cylinder sponge pieces in the blinker switch on the handle bar. This is to stop the switch from locking in and therefore eliminating the need to press the blinker button in to cancel, allowing the signal minder to time out after 10 seconds (if the brakes are not applied) electronically. Problem is it started to take three or more tries to get,the blinker to start as the cylinder sponges started to slip. Looking around the shop I came across a sanding sponge that should have been tossed some time ago. I took a razor knife and cut off the sand paper leaving the dense sponge. I cut two pieces about 3/4" x 1/8" x 3/16" and slid them in giving me a perfect fit unlike the supplied parts. So now I am back to the no-mind rider that I am. I am a fan of the signal minder and for those perfect ones out there I've seen you leave your blinker on!!

You won't see mine left on, they're self canceling. I'll explain & demonstrate sometime. Can't use it on the Valk though.
