So, Buzz asked me to handle the dinner meeting this month. So as the VP.5 I'm making a command decision and Hosting he meeting at a new BBQ place called Ten 50 BBQ located at 1050 North Central expressway, Richardson, TX . This place is similar to hard8 BBQ, food is just as good if not better. they have a back room that is not as noisy as the rest and do take reservations. So please speak up if you are going to show up. I need to give them a head count for the reservation.

Which 10% are you leaving home? You don't want to know! Must be the part(s) that reside in someone's purse. But a tip of the hat to you, sir, if those bits equal 10%!

I think there's a 'title loan' office near by Hard 8 BBQ is $15 a lb for most meats. So the price is quite good. Besides you should only eat about 1/2 lb of meat anyway. So, does this mean you are to cheap to enjoy excellent BBQ and our great company? Or are you going to come? Just no bitching about prices, yes or no.

I KNOW my Valker buds are great! Don't know about the $18.00/lb. BBQ. Sorta hoping YOU could afford to treat us all!

Ok, Counting Houdini as 3 we currently have 13 Plus a maybe or probably from Daniel (come on man it's on your way home from work, you can make it!). So, I'll reserve a table for 15 to 20, hopefully every one makes it, even Tom!

Doing Brew math I come up with 14 (that's 3 for Houdini and yes for any reply that indicated that they might want to go). I'll show up at 6:45 and they will set a table aside for us. They suggested we park in the North parking lot, that is the one right after the building. So any one that has yet to reply Please let me know if you are going. Also Buzz or Crazy Gall, I planned and coordinated the meeting place, I have not planned a presentation or talking subject, that's up to you two otherwise we will just eat good BBQ and talk about what ever subject that we talk about.

Thanks for stepping up Brew. Hollyday and I just got back from a trip. It's likely we wont make it for this meeting. Make something up and talk about it. Ride For Kids, Hill Country Ride, and of course Wizard's memorial are all good topics. I would like to get a wrench party sometime if there's enough interest. I can host one if needed.

It was a good ol' Texas BBQ evening and we all enjoyed chewing the fat. Sidecar won the 50/50 and had fliers available for the upcoming Ride For Kids as did Wanderer. During the meeting portion of the evening, we talked about Ride For Kids on October 12th - how to get registered, how to volunteer, the Maxim dinner auction, and how to find the links on the board. We also talked about the celebration of Wizard's life this weekend at the Baker's home in Friendswood and the Wizard Memorial Ride on Saturday. They are still looking for a ride leader if someone is available to do this - please contact Flamingobabe. See her post for more details. Woody volunteered to host a wrench party on October 4th. A separate post will go up for that. PlaneCrazyGal and Baron mentioned upcoming avaiation and car events that might pair up well with Valkyries. There is already a post going for the aviation events and PlaneCrazyGal will be posting the info for Cruise Night, which will be held on November 1st. Several of our members have participated in previous cruises and had a lot of fun. Here are a few pics from the evening:
