Just tried out my new Goodyear Triple Tread and new wheel dampers. Felt a little "squishy" at first.(36 psi) But after going on some local twisties...........it felt a lot better. Came home and took my wife for a short ride and she agreed that it felt smoother too. Also tried it out on some un-even road surfaces and it didn't "track" much at all. So far I'm sold on the CT. I'm looking forward to putting several miles on that tire before winter sets in. Thanks to all that have posted (pro & con) on this controversial subject as well as their recommendations on their favorite tire set up.

Just watch out for abrupt edges or "wrinkles" in the asphalt--you'll get an eye opener.

You are going to love the longevity also, My Goodyear Triple tread has 23,000 miles on it and it still looks good. I have tried all different PSI and have found 38psi to work best for me. I have a friend with a VTX and another with a C50 Blvd and both now have car tires on them (they both took mine for a ride first).
