Wow what a quick turn off events. Prayers sent to his family. I still remember the first time we met. It was in Winsboro, TX.

So sad for those of us he's left behind, but there's comfort knowing that his struggles are over.

Rest in Peace, Wizard.

I've re-purposed this…for several different friends that have taken the long road home…simply because I've never been able to say it better. It gets re-purposed far too often.

This was really a sad news.  Cry
In recent years I have borrowed his black Valkyrie when I have been in Texas. I always looked forward to seeing Duane. He was caring, helpful and sociable.
We meet again my friend!

Really sorry to hear this. When I saw that he was in Hospice, I was hoping and praying for a recovery. Didn't know him that well, but on the few times had the opportunity to visit with him, I always enjoyed his stories and insight.

Rest in Peace Wizard  Cry

When you think about it, it's those quiet people you meet in life that do all they can for others with no questions asked and seems like Wizard was one of those guys. I can see from all the post that Duane will be greatly missed for now but remembered forever.

It is great to see all the love for my dad.  He was an incredible dad and friend.  I will miss him dearly...  The support and friendship of his friends and the VRCC in general means the world to me.  Thank you all so much.... Embarrassed
