I changed yesterday the intake manifold orings in my 1999 Std Valkyrie. I realized I only have vacuum lines in intake manifolds nr 3, 4 and 6. I guess a previous owner cut the rest of vacuum lines.

In fact they are cut just close to the intake manifold, but they are not plugged. See pictures

I have some doubts:
1- Should I replace an have all six lines connected?
2- I read somewhere that having lines 3, 4 an 6 is enough. If so, should I put a cap in the rest of lines or leave as they are?

Thanks a lot in advance

It shouldn't have a line to all six, assuming it's stock. What you have sounds about right.

I can't really tell from your picture, but the funny-looking OEM caps are probably what you have.

I replaced my caps (I'm desmogged, so I have more caps than you) and my stiff
vacuum line to #6 this winter, and also the O-rings you mention.

None of this will do you any good if the stuff you have is already good, but man-o-man,
it did my bike some good  cooldude

The only vacuum lines, providing the bike is still stock and not desmogged and still has a vacuum petcock, go to 3,4 and 6. The others are capped/plugged. 3 and 4 are connected together and go to the pair valve assembly. 6 goes to the petcock.
The original lines don't last long and need to be replaced with quality stuff.

If you do a complete desmog and go to a manual petcock as I did, all six will be plugged and the vacuum  tubes will be in the trash.  Hoser  Smiley

cooldude And add an electrical fuel shutoff if you go that route.
