Can anyone tell me what the payload capacity is for the F6B?
The Valkyire manual says that the Valkyrie can only hold 370 pounds including rider, passenger, and accessories.
This seems very odd as I thought it had the same frame as the F6B and 'Wing. If the Valkyrie is so much lighter than the F6B and 'Wing, then I'd expect the payload capacity to be greater.

The F6B manual reads 410 lbs maximum weight capacity for rider, passenger, all cargo and accessories.
maximum of all cargo :51 lbs.
This means for my wife and I , loaded with luggage, that we'll exceed that. I'm more than half the maximum weight myself.
As far as the new Valkyrie, they aren't completely  the same . The rear subframe is different and the suspension(I believe) and tires/wheels are different.

And what was the payload on the original fat girl? I will bet that everyone that has ever traveled on one has went past it and had no problems because of it.

Just kidding.

the rear subframe is totally different on the valk., which could explain some of it.

410 lbs. is all,  boy, I'm going to have to get a skinnier wife under say 130lbs.

Our 2001 Valk I/S is we are at around 490lbs. and loaded down easily over 500lbs.  YIKES,  but we never had any issues although braking is not as good is all I notice and a tad less pickup off the line is all, plus at stops have to be more careful and not so tipsy.

Just got back from our first trip, packed up on the F6B.  cooldude We had her fairly packed down. Bags full of gear etc... Large Tee Bag on the luggage rack.

We've had the trusty Valk loaded many times the same way. I have heavy duty springs on the Progressive 444s. While the Valk has handled the load just fine, the F6B the bike just didn't seem like I was carrying that weight. It just felt better carrying the same kind of payload.
