hey y'all,
thanks for the responses on looking for a radiator. Question, does an interstate radiator fit

I also need a radiator for my Tourer, but have found only Interstate radiators. I have been told by several guys including one bike mechanic that the Interstate radiator is different from the Tourer and Standard radiator. The radiator pods on the Interstate and the chrome side covers on the Tourer and Standard call for different bolt patterns. The part numbers for the radiators are different.
Either radiator would probably cool properly, but the Tourer chrome side covers won't bolt onto an Interstate radiator.
Or so I've been told.

A good radiator shop could "recore" your radiator.
It might be more cost effective in the long run. Check with a local "hot rod/performance" shop for recommendations.

If the cost of an IS radiator is low enough, how 'bout having your tourer radiator sides mounted on the IS radiator??
