I have been watching the board for over a year and bought my '97 standard a year ago this past June.  Previously had riden a HD softail classic, rented a road king for a weekend and then "it" happened.  My oldest son had purchased a '98 valkyrie and kept telling what a wonderful bike it was.  I rode a friends goldwing and was sold on the smoothness of the honda.  Long story short found my valk in Detroit, made a deal, flew there and rode the fat girl home to Utah.  Over the past 7,000 miles I've added a Clearview shield with vent, the ultimate four piece big boy seats, baker air wings, a new avon venom front tire, and just yesterday a new goodyear assurance triple-tread.  Need I say what a machine! This past July I had the privilege of joining my son on a ride to Inzane in Frisco, and together we participated in many of the rodeo events (Pauline, I have a picture that'll make you proud from the weiner biting event.  Send me your e-mail)  as well as the poker run.  Got to meet many of you fine folks and all in all enjoyed a wonderfull weekend.  I'll be around from now on, if any of you are coming through this part of the country, (Rocky Mountain west) look me up as I'm always out for a ride ,

Welcome from Massachusetts.

I've got an Electraglide too.. it's okay to have more than one motorcycle.. in fact it's encouraged.!

The Electraglide's got soul, and the FatLady has heart! What could be better than that?!

Welcome to the board Mike, fairly new at it myself.  It was a pleasure to have met you and Cheryl at Inzane IX.
