First time I had ridden my bicycle since I bought my Valk. Breathing hard and sweatn' just not as fun as a twist of the wrist. Still made time to get a real ride in. What I want to know is how you all get chores around the house done and keep the grass mowed. Cause if it ain't raining, I'm wanting to ride. Cool

I second that emotion  cooldude. I love my Valk but I also love my Specialized road bike. I'm seriously considering fabricating a bike rack for my Valkyrie. Two totally different experiences but both are wonderful two-wheel, open-air experiences. I had to turn down riding just today because the lawn was real long and shabby. I found that if you simply starve your lawn you get to do a lot more riding.   Wink

Nice to hear from some other cyclist/Trek riders on the forum.  I haven't ridden mine nearly as much since getting the Valk(s)...but that is going to change.  I miss that different kind of exhilaration that one gets after completing that 50 mile workout on the Trek.

Trek road bike and Raliegh Mtn Bike. Your post may just motivate me to get back at it. Getting fat and lazy just twisting the throttle. Ain't nothing like blasting down a mtn trail on the Raliegh jumping logs, slinding thru turns, on the edge. wooooohooooo. Or on the Trek at 50+ mph on a downhill descent. wooohoooo

I've been wondering about a bike rack/trailer. I love taking my bikes, canoe, climbing gear, etc to the mtns and then I got a Valk. What an obcession. One thrill taking the place of all those others. Just don't have enough room on the Valk for all my other toys.
