You know, like they did back in 1996-97 for the original. 1/4 mile 0-60, 60-80 top speed, etc. Just curious as to how the new "Beast" compares to the old Lady on paper. I have heard a lot of Butt dynos and performance figures here and there. I would just like to see the facts. Kind of curious as to why the M/C mags have not published any. Or have I missed them?

This from MC crusier Aug. 1999. I can't find the original "Cycle World" 1996 specs. But they were quicker as I recall 1/4 mile of 12.1, I believe.
Fuel mileage: 30 to 42 mpg, 35.9 mpg average
Average range: 190 miles
RPM at 60 mph, top gear: 2990
200 yard, top-gear acceleration from 50 mph, terminal speed: 74.2 mph
Quarter-mile acceleration: 12.93 sec., 104.0 mph

I do not recall the times for the 14 Valk, but Cycle World did have a 1/4 mile time for the F6B
11.84 sec. @ 110.97 mph

I can only guess that the lighter Valkyrie would trump that.

I have very little data, but here it is:

Average mileage (for me) is 49-51 miles per gallon. Average range (for me) is 230-250 miles. Best tank is 280.8 miles. http://www.f6cforum.com/forum/8-honda-f6c-general-discussion/6090-how-far.html
Top speed is speed limited to 127 miles per hour. http://www.f6cforum.com/forum/8-honda-f6c-general-discussion/5969-my-mini-review.html
RPM@60MPH in 5th = 2373RPM. http://www.gearingcommander.com/ (I have added the GL1800C.)

I get less than 200 miles per tank...
