One of my headsets won't hold a charge longer than a few hours. Blogs are saying it's to old to be supported by scala. Anyone replaced the batteries and if so do you have a part number to share?

If it is like my old one, I went to a place here in town called 'Interstate Battery'.

They took it to the back room, took it apart, came out to find a battery, it had been replaced in part #'s 3 times.     They finally found a battery, put it in it and the last time my kids rode the Chev Trike it worked.

Battery replacement was like 5 or 6 years ago.

If you have an Interstate Battery outlet, give em a shot on a replacement and let them do the replacement.

Seems like the battery cost me under $20.00.   I'm going from memory here. Memory ain't too good anymore.

The newer G9 and G9X units are physically very similar to the G4s. It wouldn't surprise me if the batteries were interchangeable. Why not give Cardo support a call and hear what they have to say?

Thanks GR for the tip and links. I am going to call scala when I get back in town but from what I was reading wasn't getting a good feeling about assistance due to the older model. Seem to be batteries available so if they can't help I'll do it myself. Thanks again.
