I just purchased a Hondaline CB radio for my 2000 IS and I want to make sure I have mounted it correctly, see below. Also I'm wondering if someone can tell me what the large female plug is used for shown in the other pic? I know the male connects to the CB. Last does the PTT switch need cleaning periodically? This switch has probably never been used. Thanks for any help!

PAVALKER I already have the service manual and it does not cover anything on the CB radio that I can find.   Undecided  I also have the CB operators manual but it says nothing regarding the installation. I think I've installed it correctly but I'm looking for confirmation.  ???

Hey Salty1
The link that Pavalker sent you has the installation instructions. It is the fourth download on that page. Your installation looks right. Obviously the wiring will have to be routed along the trunk rail so it does not interfere with the trunk sitting flush on the bracket. The female plug is for a cd player. Hope it all goes well.
