Just to be sure.  I am building a variation of Mr.  Spoonland's adapter.  For the vertical posts..... One goes over the outboard bolt for the sidestand and the U-channel straddles the same crossmember on the right side. 

Is that correct?

an updated narrow version which would fit bikes with aftermarket pipes
