Bikers don't need shrinks!

"Day of Event Volunteers” make our event all it can be for our local brain tumor Stars! For the past 10 years, the Texas VRCC has been a huge supporter with riders and volunteers and these kids still need us.  With approximately 70 job descriptions to be filled, we really need your help! Please!!! Volunteers will include riders as well as motorcycle friendly non riders. You may volunteer and still do the ride with the kids. Each volunteer needs to attend a training session. You have two training dates from which to choose - Thursday evening, October 9th, 7:00pm, or Saturday morning, October 11th, 10am. Training will take no more than an hour and a half. Both meetings will be held at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine.

More info and Volunteer Sign up Here http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/726218540056

NOTE: Please use their “employee parking” area behind the main new car showroom (ask for directions if you have trouble or email me for map), and go to the upstairs meeting location in the main showroom of the dealership for the training. You will get your volunteer t-shirt at your training meeting.

The Saturday training will probably work best for those attending the Thursday VRCC meeting.
And, remember, the ride is rain or shine. Rain chances for Sunday are continuing to decrease.

Oh, and if you haven't registered to ride, it's high time to do that so you can get your chance to win the motorcycle. Here  is the registration site http://pbtf.convio.net/site/TR?fr_id=1760&pg=entry

Remember, those who register and raise online donations of at least $100 before this weekend can get a drawing ticket for the drawing for a new motorcycle as well as some other goodies. In the last 12 years, we have had three Valk riders (and one honorary VRCC member in Cassie) win the motorcycle! You must be entered and be present to win.

I'm registered for the ride and will be present.   cooldude   Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

About all the good I can do volunteer-wise is leave the pillion seat on in case someone needs a ride, but I'm happy to do that!

Let the "Fund" begin, hate to miss this fun event. Ruthie is progressing well from back surgery, but I'm not comfortable leaving her alone, hope to return next year. Raise a million!

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

See y'all tomorrow. I had about 9 riders lined up. As of tonight it looks 7 candies dropped for varies reasons/excuses.

Really looking forward to helping out with the RFK.
