Annoying squeak cure

Armour All !  My rider back rest would squeak, WD40 worked for a week or two. Armour All, good for a month.  One of my Sub Station mechanics recommended it after I saw him spray it on the racking mechinisim on the out side of a GE Magna Blast Breaker ( Big   4 kv circuit breaker)

When I was a kid, everything got Armour All. Then I heard that it dries things out. Don't know how true, but figured I would just keep it clean and stay away from all those chemicals.

I try to use natural wax type products for leather.

One quick and tight wrap of electrical tape stopped mine from squeaking.

Down side, two years later trying to pull it out was a big chore.... it sorta melted.

I use to Armour All everything in my car when i was younger. I only use it on the door panels of my wife's Camaro and parts of her dash board. I lightly saddle soap her leather seats.
