Anybody have these actually on their bike and using them? Wondering exactly what the scoop is? Like the idea, any additional leg room would be nice. Wondering if a new seat (King Big Boy) and a lowering set would make things more comfortable?

Yes they are more comfortable. The downside is you'll scrape pegs or floorboards more.

Yes they are more comfortable. The downside is you'll scrape pegs or floorboards more. Scraping pegs was the only downside I could come up with. Have to admit, these days I don't do much scrapin' ! Gonna order and try a set

I have a set of the original and it does help me a lot. One of the best things I did for the Interstate. Next best thing for me was Showchrome risers to pull the bars back a little and next was the Ultimate King Big Boy seat. Fits me perfectly now. 6'3" 34" inseam.

Once the kit is mounted, is there more than one peg position to mount to? Will this require adjustment of the rear break pedal height, or extension of break lines? I get hip cramps from my Valk, bet this would do the trick. I looked at the pictures again, appears there's two peg positions?

TWO LOWERS PEGS ONE INCH AND FWD EITHER 7/8" OR 1-3/4"
Will this require adjustment of the rear break pedal height,
NO. BRAKE PEDAL LOWERS WITH THE KIT.
or extension of break lines?
NO. PASS THE LINES OUTSIDE OF THE KEEPER ALLOWS ENOUGH SLACK.

What a great idea!! I also could use a little extension. I assume that the "plasti-chrome" cover goes back on on the brake side to cover up the master-cylinder?

Mark, l have a 97 standard that I tried to manually see what this new bracket would do. I have a heat shield on the brake switch that will hit the exhaust pipe. Is this removed or modified at all?

None of my Valkyries has a "plast-chrome" cover on the brake side except on the reservoir. Are you sure the master cylinder has a plastic cover?
