Apparently, this guy mounted a HD fairing on the valk and had details on how to do so. Please contact me John! Lol

Yep, that's what the fairing is in the picture below. Off an FLHT, which had the mounting studs one directly over the other, a few inches apart. I cut a piece of SS, 1" wide, bent to shape and attached to the upper windshield mount on either side. Then used a Kuryakyn P clamp from the handle bar up to the back side of the fairing, using the outmost windshield mounting bolts as an attachement point. It's solid. I had to cut the bottom piece off the fairing, and enlarge the hole for the headlight. Do just a little at a time so you don't get it so big you have a huge gap between the headlight and the fairing opening. In the old picture attached, you can see where I attached the P clamps.

And it looks good too John along with the rest of the bike. I especially like your gauge setup. I don't know why the guy at Home Depot didn't like it.

Thanks Terry, he was just showing his true colors: Stupid! I would never criticize another person's ride except in jest and I knew the person real well. I have always set my bikes up to suit me and nobody else. Notice the leathers on the old "inside" picture, you'll see those on TJ's bike now.

I think there is a guy on eBay that will cut anything you want into a plate like that. He uses a water jet cutter. I think it was on eBay, maybe someone else will recall.
