Learned something today. The time changed here in Texas and I needed to turn back the clock on my Interstate. Do this twice a year, sometimes easy, sometimes I have trouble. Always get the owners manual as I can't remember how to use all the switches. The manual says to turn ignition or accessory on, push and hold clock button until it beeps, then use volume lever to adjust the time, etc. Well did those things but it would never beep and let me adjust the time. I tried everything I could think of, finally took apart the switch, tried to jump the contacts, cleaned everything, put it all back together, nope, nothing. Wondering what to do, I turned on the radio, and tried again and it worked!! Tried several more times and it always worked. The manual doesn't say nothing about the radio needing to be on. Anyway, made a note in my manual for next time.  Firefighter

My clock was correct time on my IS when I bought it.

I have no idea what it is now, I wear a watch.

I know how to set my watch.   Grin

When I retired in '09, I put my wrist watch on the dresser top and it's been there since.   Grin Grin

I usually change the clock on Valk with the engine running and radio on.  I tired several times to change in by just turning the key to "on", but it wouldn't beep.   So before a ride or after a ride just press the clock button, wait for the beep, and change the hour.  Though do have to change the minutes every so often.

Pretty much the same with me since retired in '10, but I do wear it when I leave the house some of the time.  You know, in case a sweet thing says........ hey I'll be back in 15 minutes.   Roll Eyes  Grin
