While cleaning my new to me Valk, I pulled the wrong way removing a side cover and snapped off the lock tab.

Nothing to lose by trying....Thin cyanoacrylate "glue" and a "kicker" to make it harden instantly. I get this stuff at my local hobby shop.

A trial fit to make sure alignment is correct.

I sprayed a piece of thick paper with the kicker so I can apply exactly where it's needed. I applied to one surface only.

I like to use a long thin applicator extention tube on the CA adhesive bottle to have more precise control of where the CA runs. (It is very thin and will easily run where you don't want it to go and ruin a surface...be careful!) When the CA wicks into the broken joint, it sets instantly, so make sure everything's aligned exactly the way you want it!!! Also, be careful, it will glue skin! I recommend practicing on something you dont care about to get the "feel".

The finished repair. I thought about grinding a grove and reinforcing the tab with metal rods, but it held strong as is!
