You might use a laser thermometer to compare the temperatures of each of the exhaust pipes. Abnormally cool ones indicate a cylinder running rich.

It could also be useful to compare your temps to a properly running Valk.

I'm not sure, but I think Auto Zone will loan you the tool.

F6Ghostrider, it sounds like you are bouncing all over the place, maybe trying

for some justification to do something that's not really necessary.

Have you fixed the gas leak?

And, to refer to your original post, why don't you give some more information

about the conditions surrounding the power loss.

Regarding the air pressure to the exhaust - to find a clogged pipe. What end

of the exhaust did you apply the air?

Wow.  $20...  You should visit Carolina Bike and Trike webpage. http://www.carolinabikeandtrike.com/ORings.htm  $15.99 for 5 tire changes worth.  Work great.

If you are changing plugs, you may want to look at the new Pulstar plugs. Replaced mine at about 62,000 miles and immediately noticed a smoother idle, and more power through the entire RPM range. Don't think this is your answer, but it will help even a good running Valk. They are pricey about $120 for the set from Advanced Auto.

OK. Here's the scoop. My 20 year old son came by Sunday afternoon and we were looking ang talking about my issues. Like some others have posted regarding hot and cold pipes, spark etc.... He found pipes 2 & 6 stayed cold much longer than the others. We swapped #2 & 4 plugs. #2 & #6 plugs were dead. No spark at all. They were wet though. A trip to Auto Zone & $16 later, Viola! Problem solved.
NGK OEM replacements. Nothin fancy.

I was looking for something that wasn't there. I know I was all over the place and wasn't giving enough info. Frustration I guess. This beast runs like a striped ass ape now! Quick acceleration, runs smooth through the gears, pulling hard, passing effortlessly. Almost feels like it wants to pull the bars out of my hands. Now I know what others mean when they ask, "Wheres 6th gear?"
Not sure where Im at with mileage yet. Still on 1st tank of fuel. Somehow I think it's back to normal. As for spilling gas.... No mas. Doesn't smell too rich anymore either. I can't beleive I overlooked the simple and obvious for soooo long.

I'll send a closure report in a few days regarding fuel mileage.

I can't thank everyone enough for your posts and Valk knowledge.

Truly indebted and sincerely,
Jeff.

Glad you got it resolved, and glad it was that easy.  I understand about red herrings leading your mind in places it shouldn't go.  Sometimes an outside perspective, or just an overnight to sleep on it and approach it fresh is all I need.  I can't count how many times I've gotten too far into the weeds, and needed someone or something to bring me back to the easy solution.

Alrighty now. Think Im back to where I should be. I never have done exact fuel mileage calls, just rough guestimations. That is why I was saying 36 mpg. Just filled up and it was 29.91 mpg. Not concerned though. I was sooo happy the bike was firing so good, it was hard to keep from twisting the throttle.  I don't ride this bike for excellent mileage anyway.
Thanks again fellas.
Ride safe.
