Lynnwood Washington

« on: November 23, 2014, 11:55:36 PM »

I thought I should introduce myself to the local group. My name is Tim and I live in Lynnwood WA. I am retired and got back into riding early last year. I was able to pick up a '75 Goldwing from a friend that had been sitting in his garage for 22 years. After 4 months of work I got it up and running with new parts and some bits from Ebay and Bent Bike in Lynnwoood. It came out very nice and I really enjoy how it rides. Then I came across the '99 Valkyrie Interstate! Now i have 2 bikes but will have to sell the classic '75. If any of you guys know someone looking for an original 'wing let me know. When I figure out how to work this forum I'll post a photo of the new bike. I'm looking forward to maybe meeting for coffee even if I have to drive the car.

Welcome K7TKA glad to have you aboard. There are several on here from the state  of Washington. Im sure you will be hearing from them soon.
Myself and several others are in the Boise area and really want to have that meet up and coffee  with you as soon as we can.
If you can plan on going to Inzane with us June 2015 it is being held in Spearfish SD. Great bunch of folks you will meet and a good time will be had. We are planning on riding out from Boise leaving Thursday or Friday June 4th or 5th.
Thanks again for checking in and we hope to meet you in the near future.

Welcome K7TKA!

I'm also new to Valkyrie ownership. Just picked up a '98 Tourer and am enjoying the heck out of riding. (Better than my old '82 750 Magna)

I'm down in South Snohomish and would be happy to get together sometime even if I don't (gasp!) drink coffee. Smiley

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Kendall

P.S. My father was W7QJC/WB6YQB and one of my brothers is KO7M.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys. Maybe we can do a coffee meet for the Snohomish County guys after all the holiday BS is over. I'm from Boise (Borah class of '62) so very familiar with the area. My brother rides a 1300ST so if I can get over there we can have a ride.
