Undecided As I have mentioned in a couple of earlier post I have recently purchased a salvage titled 03 Standard . I would like to get it licensed . While most of the damage is cosmetic , I will have to have an odometer. The windshield bent back and busted up both the speedo and tach, as required by Mo. law the bike must have an odometer. While I would like to replace them with somthing , cool LED ect.I need somthing cheap, now. Any one know what the gear ratio on the stock speedo is or have a cheap replacment?

So far the used oem does look like the way to go. I would like to do somthing different ,but wow the LED and digital can be expensive I have found used oem speedos at a fair price ,but add in the OEM tach and we're a bit ver 300.00 for the pair. Digital and Leds with oil and water ,look like 450.00 plus. If I went with simple aftermarket gauges the speedo can still be had some what inexpensive , but add in a tach, water, and oil and again I am over my current budget, I could hold off on every thing but the speedo and odometer and add the rest next month. The purchase of the bike wasn't planned , I got to build back up the bike fund. But would really like to get her on the road .

Cheap. No lights. No tach.

Idiot lights. Relatively cheap.
