I was in my cage, on my way to pick up my son, and I had my left turn blinker on. I see a black interstate go through the light and pull in at the Circle K, I switched my blinker to the right, and made my turn. I HAD to find out who it was. Nobody comes through here without me checking it out, LOL Turns out he lives not that far away from us, his wife was with him, riding her own (not a Valk, so I won't even mention what she was riding, hehe) Anyway, he left me his card so I could email him the information on the chicken place in Mississippi we like to go to with Warlock and the Ms gang. So, Randy (aka Cowboy) if you are lurking, welcome! Join the VRCC, lots of good folks here. I think you and Bunny would feel right at home.

Maybe running down the Nachez Trace the beginning of December. What's the weather like in your area around that time of year? TIA

Hello Misunderstood, I don't live down there, but I hunt down there every year. December for the most part - expect anything. Of couse it will usually be cooler in the north part of the state, but can be quite nice from Jackson on down. I've ridden the Trace from Jackson down to Nathez a couple of times and I love it. Try to avoid the twilight hours though, especially from Port Gibson down - the deer get pretty thick - both in size and numbers. One day I'd like to ride the whole trace from Nashville on down. I hear the scenery on the northern part is awsome. One of these days I'm gonna have to get back to the General Store in Lorman and try that chicken out for myself too. Sorry for the hi-jack, just wanted to chime in. John

sorry, didn't mean to leave you hangin...work was calling.... anyway, as mentioned it can vary down here, anywhere from the 70's to 20's, we get some bizarre things....last year we got so much snow that it shut down all the schools and gave me a day off, it hadn't snowed like that for probably 20 years....weird...anyway, if you do come on down, and if you have Gerbings, bring em, if you have a rain jacket, bring it, it you have t-shirts, bring it, etc. If you want some info on some good roads in Mississippi, call on Warlock, Nightrider, or Punisher they know where they all are, I think we have one in Louisiana, Hwy 22, LOL I can tell you where that one is.

wild might not be the best word that describes me, I'm thinking "crazy" might be more appropriate But, seriously, if you want some good eating, Roma's ribs are the best, ask Joe, Normandog, Det, Marty, Magoo, Warlock, anybody will tell you, Roma's Ribs are worth riding for

Yeah Bee, I tried Tea's Taco Soup. If you remember I wasn't one of the picky eaters. As Punisher said we Mississippi boys are used to eating what Mom put in front of us. You either ate it or went hungry.

Britman, I'll be sure and tell him you said so! You know you are always welcome in this neck of the woods and RIBS are always in season!
