Some of ya'll may not be aware of this, so here 'tis:  Recently Dag sent me a message asking for my address, and telling me to expect a package.  When I returned from my business trip, I found a box had been delivered in my absence, labeled "To the Texas VRCC".  Inside was a very well put together set of six high quality vacuum guages with associated tubes, all mounted in a convenient suitcase.  It was our very own carb sync setup.  He either got lucky, or put enough thought into it to ensure that it fit in the trunk of an IS.
He did this without us asking, or even mentioning that we needed one.  He just knew they were handy to have, and sent it.
The Houston chapter had a very good break in session of the new carb sync setup on Saturday.  One of the vacuum lines was loose initially, but as soon as we fixed that (just needed to re-seat it.  Probably had come loose during the many times I had opened it up to show people), it worked great.  You'll have to ask Wizard and Dodis how theirs are running, but I think mine is going great.  We'll sync a few more in the weeks to come.  I know Duct Tape wants to use it, and I'm sure there are others who would like to.
Not sure how we'll work the logistics of the other parts of Texas using it, but if it's desired, we'll come up with something, I'm sure.

Anyway, big thanks to Dag again.

Dag,  angel

Yes, many thanks for your extremely generous donation! Although my bike wasn't out much, just a few tweaks on the carbs (and finally fixing the vacuum caps), and I'm running better than ever!

I definitely plan to attend whatever VRCC function brings you back to Houston, since I didn't make Hotglue's Dag-fest!  tickedoff   I know the OTC is just a side trip compared to running with the VRCC!
