Damn!!! Yesterday I struggled with installing a new upper radiator hose om my 97.. what a b@@ch!! crazy2 ended up forgetting it for the day, it was so frustrating.. I had never done it before.... and the space and tolerance for  fitting the hose inside that little compartment is tight! Has anyone who has  done this have any suggestions for making it easier? thanks in advance

Messed with it years ago.  Added a stainless steel mesh over that hose.  I believe I removed the entire radiator.  I know I had the tank off.

If you have access to a service manual, ch 6 covers it. I think Bob maybe right about removing the radiator and the tank for sure. Good luck.
