My bulb finally showed up today at 5:30pm.
Very pleased with this silly bright white light. Kind of a PITA to adapt the spring/retainer clip.

Here's the skinny...3600 Lumen LED headlight module with cooling fan.
5x brighter than the best halogen bulb, 10x the life span of the best halogen bulb
Purchased from Cyclops adventure sports, $59.00 MERRY CHRISTMAS
I thought my LED spots were bright, this is Inzane.

I may sell my solid billet aluminum halogen lightbar. It just is ridiculously dim and outdated yellow in comparison.

That is sure bright.  If you turn on those other driving lights I bet your fuel mileage drops 2 MPG. Smiley

Wow, I wonder if they make them for my Roadie Fairing. 2 of them up front will surely light up the night.

Holy crap.

If that comes floating up behind me on the road, I'm thinking maybe my time on this Earth is up (death angel).

That, or an aircraft is landing behind me.

In either case, I'm hauling ass out of there.   Grin

(My dual 80/100 and 90/100 off-road H4's in IS fairings are pretty bright too (even without my PIAA 1100X add ons).

Keep the light-bar, the new headlight could still fail for some reason or other.

I've got one of those lights...have yet had the time to install it.

You have any installation tips/instructions you'd care to share?

Brewer,
Please keep in mind the website states this bulb is for "off road use only, not DOT approved". I do not care. I want max daytime visibility, I want to stick out like a sore thumb and this will do it.
Night time riding may tick off drivers and may get you shot Grin I'll post back if I receive any negative response from other drivers.

Tip...When you start this have a full belly and be stress free.
Feel free to call me when before you start and I can talk you through what I did. (got lucky) Basically the clip is to high and won't clear the fan housing. I chose to reshape/modify the clip and cut some off it. I truly got lucky, it worked perfectly the first attempt. You will only have one attempt per clip, when you alter the original design you will loose spring tension to hold the bulb in place. Hey if I can do it, anyone can do it. (7two7)-5zero1-4zero99

Having just rode with Doug several miles I can say the LED is great for being seen.  It does not burn holes through your retinas and is clearly seen from miles away.  He was easy to spot in traffic yet when riding close to me in the group formation there was not issue.  Even when directly behind me at any distance it was conspicuous but not offending.  Hopefully he can get some instructions out to us on the clip modifications.   I expect to do this modification for those "off road" rides.

Thanks to Doug for being in the first group of test subjects.
