Has anyone tried this tire, in this size? (205x60x16) If yes, do you like it?

Nice price Doug, I'll be interested in how it feels and how you like it if you decide to get it. I'll probably replace my c/t next Spring sometime, mainly due to age.

I just mounted this tire on a spare rim today. (Thanks to John Lane for all his help!)

I hope to get it mounted some time soon after the holiday.

Very similar to my Nexen 5000 and I'm pleased with my N-5000. RIDE SAFE.

I chose this tire because I heard it was the same as the Falken 512 and had heard good reports on that.

I'm calling now to see how much having the bearings pulled/replaced will cost me. (Wouldn't budge with the HF blind bearing puller I bought)

I'm hoping to service/inspect the driveline after Christmas and then get the wheel installed.

I'll let you know my experiences soon there after (if the weather doesn't freeze me out)

Looks like its got familiar heritage:

"FALKEN TIRE, a Sumitomo Rubber Industries brand, was launched in its native country of Japan in 1983 and introduced to the North American market two years later. At its inception, Falken was created as the flagship high performance radial brand under Ohtsu Tire and Rubber. Now, more than two and a half decades later, Falken has become a well-known, stand-alone brand that focuses on UHP (Ultra High Performance) products while utilizing professional motorsports to further develop and improve products for worldwide distribution."

So...  have you done it?  ???

Balanced, mounted and ridden?

If so, how do you like it?

Inquiring minds want to know.   Smiley

I'll try and get a measurement tonight of the tire now that it's mounted.

I'm waiting on the shaved-down spacer to be finished so that I can install the new wheel with the bearing mod.

Since it's below freezing here in the Seattle area, it might be a while before I can actually test drive.

It is the same as the Faulken Zies 512. I have 7500 miles on mine and I love it.
