Just checked my Shinko S E 890. Has a bit more than 15000 on it right now and will be good till the weather warms up again-March or April. And for the price I got this one-$92.00 delivered to the house-cost per mile will be VERY nice. If I can get a GOOD price I'll go with another Shinko S E 890. RIDE SAFE.

Where you getting the Shinko SE890  rear tire from  for 92 bucks?

Let me know please since going to go this route probably this weekend at 117 per rear tire Shinko SE890 from chaparral racing, best deal I found.

Just don't see spending $160 or more for a rear tire if it doesn't last much longer than my current Avon Cobras at about 10K miles is all.

I would think, just a guess,  the Dunlop Elite III would last a tad bit longer, but not willing to pay close to 200 bucks per tire even with the extra mounting costs since know it will not last near 2x's as long as the other tires.

If I get near 10K on my new rear Shinko, I'll be happy for is the cheapest rear tire found or pretty close to it but if only get 6-8K, won't buy again.  Those dunlop american elite's bias plys Hoser uses has me thinking as well.

Simple fact,  the heavier the bike and heavier the load and more powerful engine, the less tire tread will last.  I'm also a firm believer on crappier roads surfaces like pea gravel covering the roads for seal coating in our area vs. just smooth as silk blacktop makes a big difference as well.
