Bored and want to stalk us as we journey north to meet Smokin Joe and the group.  Here is your chance.  This is how James tracked me to Alaska and back.
Tracking starts at 05:00 the 26th.

Evening and Merry Christmas Gil. If the weather is decent I may ride over to the Port St Joe area and meet up with the guys as well. The forecast doesn't look promising though  :(so I hope it works out!  coolsmiley look forward to meeting you and all the brother / sister Valk riders.... I'll follow your track as long as I can. Have a safe ride  police

I've never used this before, very interesting.
If I see this correctly you are having a large breakfast in Brooksville at either the Waffle House, or the MacDonald's corner of Bronson and Cortez?

Still sitting in the same chair drinking coffee and I see your already in Ocala. Wave high as you go buy the 27 Ocala/Williston exit. This is pretty cool, now I see how the govmit tracks me. Lips Sealed
Safe travels James and Gil cooldude

WOW That is really neat Gil.  Hope you are enjoying the ride.
I'll be back down where it is warm enough to ride in 10 days.

Looks like they made it OK, showing him near the college, same area as the Hotel.

O.K. help me out here.  I click on the link.  I click on go and it flashes up a map and then it disappears.  What am I not doing or doing wrong.  I can see at the bottom where they are.

Thunderbolt, I believe this is usually password protected. Click on the go button that brings up the map (maybe several times) I open google maps in another window, cut and paste their current address at the bottom of the SpotWalla page into google maps page, then click on street view to see where they are. I am having problems keeping their map open also.
Maybe it's John Schmidt's Wifi causing our problems ???

Gil and James if you have a few minutes when you pass through Apalachicola stop at the John Gorrie museum.  He invented refrigeration to help TB patients breathe better.  It is a state park so they probably charge a fee, don't remember for sure.  There are signs as you go through town.

Well folks the ride is complete for me.  Back in the house.  James is rocking down the expressway to avoid the Spring Hill traffic.  We covered around 1000 miles and had perfect weather, roads, and company.  Rick (Flask) met us.  Later after driving a few hundred miles we had lunch with them in Chiefland.

For those that had issues with the tracker the link should have worked but maybe your browser did not pass the password (Valkyrie) correctly.  The software is free and as some have seen adds a different twist to riding.  I will post pictures later.

Thanks for watching.

Very cool app ... I enjoyed watching your progress on the tracker. Glad you guys had great weather, I was envious, just not good timing for me. Beautiful scenery and roads ... Looking forward to the pics.
