So I have a question on turn signals.  I have been looking at the Showchrome brand turn signal visors (BBP model 1-243) http://www.bigbikeparts.com/templates/product.aspx?ProductGuid=1-243&GroupGuid=16 to match the tail light visor (53-442).  I know the lens changed in 2000 from two screws to one screw.  The Showchrome description wasn’t real specific and some of the vendors say they are for the Interstate only, not for the standard, even though the post 2000 std has the same lens as the Interstate.

I have the Showchrome light bar so the front signals have been relocated and rotated a quarter turn so the visors that mount with screws would be sideways if I wanted to do these on the front as well as the rear.  The 1-243 visors stick on so screw location is irrelevant.

So, how about some facts.  Will these visors fit the two screw lenses?

In the item description I read..

for use " without screw mount lenses"

Here is an example of both model visors.

Have a 99 standard, 2 screw lense and a 2000 tourer,1 screw lense. have the stick on visors on the tourer. think the tourer lense is stepped down and smaller that the 2 screw lense. I have visors on the  2 screw lense purchased from the harley shop that require grinding little slots in the edge of the 2 screw lense and clamping them on. Long and short the stick on visors are too small in diameter.
