Wow! While I am not an FSU fan, (I prefer Orange and Blue), I certainly was rooting for the Seminoles to win out over the Oragonians. What happened? These Ducks were not Mallards, that's for sure! This battle was more like a repeat of The Battle of Wounded Knee, except instead of the U.S. Army, this time the damage was done by a flock of weirdly dressed Ducks. It looks like FSU's luck of coming back from a deficit ran out at precisely the wrong time.  Sad

Anyhow, these Ducks can certainly play, although FSU did their best to help them with all of the mistakes they made. I guess these Ducks will not longer be considered as "soft" , and they have earned the right to wear whatever ugly uniforms they choose to wear!

Yes, once I saw where things were going I told Rita that FSU was going to have their butts handed to them. The Ducks scored at least 21 points on major goofs by FSU, add to that FSU didn't score at least twice inside the red zone. I know from the past, when my team was so far behind and it looked like a disaster in the making, you simply lost your desire. No excuses, they simply got outplayed tonight but sure had a heck of a run. It's going to be interesting to see how the final game turns out.

Boy you got that right Pete, we got spanked. I knew Oregon was good, have watched them quite a bit as they are usually the late game here. When you play a good team and have so many turnovers, fail to execute in the red zone and they score 30+ points on our turnovers, you are doomed to fail...and we failed big tonight. Still real proud of the 'Noles, 13-1 this season and 29 in a row, but man this hurts. Didn't respect the fact that most of the team walked off the field after it was over though. That shows bad sportsmanship. Winston stayed out and congratulated everyone though, then went into their locker room and stole their wallets. Grin  John, I know Rita must be happy. Ohio State just beat Alabama, my second favorite team. Has not been a good day for me football wise.   Sad
As they say...just wait 'til next year!! cooldude

The playoff should be interesting.  The Ducks with their Heisman QB vs. the Bucks with their third QB of the year.  Gotta root for the Bucks being from Ohio.
